Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Boy, time sure flies! My kids were off track for the whole month of November. It really wasn't too bad, though. They each were in charge of a job for a whole week. At the end of the week, if their work was "up to par", and they didn't fight with each other, then I paid them $10. It is surprising what they can do when they really put their minds to it.

I got all of my kids' Christmas shopping done in October. So, it feels good to have my Christmas shopping done. David surprised me and bought me a real Christmas tree to put upstairs in my living room. There is nothing like the smell of a real Christmas tree. I hope everyone has a great Christmas!

We also went to Idaho for Lanae's baby blessing. That was a blast! All of us girls went to Twilight! I absolutely LOVED it! It was fun being with the "girls". We went with Me, Lanae, Sharee, Mom, and Lacey. We went out to eat earlier to Johnny Carino's, too. Cherie and the boys joined us for that.

(This is Elder Lewis and Elder Gnawaka (He's from New Zealand.)

Kevin and his boys paid me a surprise visit in November. I thought it was awesome. I fed them supper. We had four missionaries over. I think Mason had fun with them. I gave Xander a bath before Kevin left to go home. Hopefully, he slept all the way home!

GO BRONCOS!!

The weekend before Thanksgiving, David and I went to Denver for our 15th anniversary. It was soo much fun. We flew there. It was only the second time that I'd been up in an airplane. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel right downtown Denver. David's two sisters, Kim and Tracy, and their husbands, Justin and Don, came with us. We went to the Denver National History museum, which was amazing.

This was before the plane took off!

This was at the Denver History Museum. They had actual stuffed animals. It was amazing.

We went to eat at a place called, Claimjumper, in Littleton, CO. This was their desserts. David had the eclair the size of a football. And, just for the heck of it, I ordered the six layer cake. We had no clue how big they were. I took the cake back to the hotel and still didn't eat it all.

The highlight of the trip was the Denver Broncos vs the Raiders game. The Raiders kicked the "crap" out of the Broncos, but it was still fun to go and watch. This is the Denver Bronco Stadium, Invesco Field.
This is during the game. It was like going to watch a high school football game, but a TON more people. We were in the lower section. We had pretty good seats.

**HAPPY HALLOWEEN**

Yeah! Our first Halloween in our new house. It was fun decorating our front porch!! October sure "screamed" by. It's amazing how time flies. Cade is done with football. He won 3 games. But, he still had fun. Now, we get Jr. Jazz. My kids are off-track for the whole month of November. Any ideas of how to keep them busy? My two girls were the only ones who went trick-or-treating this year. They looked so cute! My boys went over to Tracy's and helped scare the kids that came by. Her son, Kurt, who is really good at scary make-up, made them look pretty scary. They had fun! I dressed up like Sharee, except I had black hair spray and put in my hair. Sharee got me to do it. I got alot of compliments on me and the girls! It's always fun to "dress up!" Anyway...I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! Enjoy the pictures.

Kassidy was a very cute "spider witch". She is wearing my earrings and necklace.

Keisha is a "disco girl". She wore some high-heeled sandals that I had and was almost as tall as me. She said, "Mom, I don't look like I'm 9, do I?"

Here's my "PUNK ROCK" look. I actually had my neighbor that didn't think I looked like a Mom and was going to try and get a date! Ha Ha!! I informed him that I had 4 kids and a husband.

**Fair Time**2008**

Well...the first weekend in September was the Utah State Fair. It was alot of fun! Dad and Delon brought 12 head of cows. It was kind of funny because Dad wanted me to go in early and save a spot for them. So, I did on Thursday afternoon. The funny thing was...about 15 minutes after I got there, another guy came in and wanted the EXACT same spot. But, I beat him there. The guy said that he had been in that same spot for about 30 years. I thought it was kind of funny. Caleb was off-track so he stayed overnight and slept in Uncle Doyle's RV and helped Dad the whole time from Thursday to Sunday night. It was good for him. Delon brought Haydn and Riley. It was fun to see them.

On Monday was show day, and Dad gave me a yellow shirt and I got to help show one round. I have never really got into the "showing" part of the fairs, because I never really learned how to do it, but I just love the whole fair atmosphere. I guess it reminds me of good times growing up. It was alot of work, but I always loved going to the fairs when I was in High School.

It was funny because I told my girls they were going to go to the fair and answer "phone calls". Phone calls to us growing up was picking up "poop" with a pitchfork and putting it in a wheelbarrow. So, Kassidy asked me, "Mom, when are we going to go to the fair and answer the phones?" She cracked me up!

I also enjoyed going there and spending time with Dad and seeing my family. I don't get to see them very often, so I tried to get in there as often as I could. Unfortunately, because of "tons" of stuff I have to do, I didn't make it like I wanted. But, oh well.

I have included some fun pictures of the fair...

Bryan came and helped for a couple of days. It was fun visiting with him.

Caleb and Haydn had fun together. Delon gave them some money and Caleb took Haydn and went out and rode some rides.

Delon and his allergies. He had about five of those masks, and when he went out to get them, the boys were following him, so in walked Caleb, Haydn, Riley, and Delon with those masks on. It was quite funny.

My girls with Riley. I told Riley to look as mean as he could. They had fun chasing each other on the hay outside of the barn.

This is several of the cute "picture" things they had at the fair. Look at the barn. It looks like the one from "Little House on the Prairie".
Check out this huge boar. He was HUGE!! David is in the picture so you can see how big he is. As we were going through looking at him, this lady said, "What is that sticking out of his butt?" Hello!!! Ha Ha!!

All of us just chattin' before we went home.

We are getting ready to show a whole bunch of cows. I was getting ready to lead one of the heifers. Look in the back and you'll see David Mortimer and Uncle Wayne. It was awesome seeing them. Tyana and her husband and Janelle and Aunt Alice were there inside the show barn. Uncle Doyle and Uncle Gary were also there helping to show. Uncle Gary actually came and stayed overnight to help.

Yeah! here I am showing a cow in my yellow shirt. It was fun!

Cade's First Game of Football this Season

Today was Cade's first game of the season. He will be playing every Saturday from now until November at 1:30 p.m. It is alot of fun. He played Olympus. They lost, but gave them a good run for their money. I love watching him play. It's a blast! It was HOT HOT HOT today. He plays the line and does a great job.

Cade's # is 66. Cade plays on the offensive line.

This is Cade's coach before the game.

This is David giving Cade some advice inbetween plays.

Cade coming out again. The boy in the white shirt is Cade's friend, Casey Roose.

More pictures of our House

This is a picture of the master bathroom! Yeah!!

This is another picture of my bathroom!
This is my nice, big tub!
This is my small backyard! At least I don't have very much yard work to do! Ha Ha!! It does have a nice conrete pad and the little shed it nice to have, too.

This is a closer view of our yard. It looks better than it does here, though.
This is going up the stairs to our kitchen.
This is my kitchen.
This is the view from the east side of my kitchen down the hallway. Down at the end of the hallway is three bedrooms. The two girls' on the left, and mine and David's on the right. There is also a bathroom on the right of the hallway. That is the one the kids' use.

Pictures of Our House

I decided to take pictures of my new home, so everybody can see it.

This is the picture from the outside of my house. That is David's Penhall truck.

This picture is our downstairs family room.

This is our laundry room. Notice...laundry still needs to be done. It is a very big room, that I love. It's not cramped like our other house. This next picture is our living room as you come in the front door. We got new leather couches.

Various Pictures

Kassidy's first time riding the 4-wheeler.

Caleb on the "big" 4-Wheeler.
Rafting the Green River - David actually fell in with his waders on, right before we started. Good thing it was shallow. Needless to say, he was "mad". Ha Ha
Headed back to camp after a full day on the river. :)
Cade getting ready to go fishing!

Camping in our "old" tent.

Keisha and Kassidy at their dance recital at our church in June.

Keisha's 9th Birthday with some of her friends.
David as a Pirate in a skit the high council did. He loved to "sing and dance". They lip-synced to Ray Steven's, "I want to sing and dance."

Caleb right before family pictures.
